The 15 series offers lead-containing opaque glass colors used in ceramic decal application for the decoration of drinking glasses and container glasses. The colors of the 15 series have excellent processing properties in all conventional decorating methods for decal application such as direct and indirect screen printing, spraying and brush application.

Our colors form a permanent coating that provides scratch resistance with high gloss and color.  They also provide relatively high resistance to acids and alkalis, which is especially critical for drinking glass decoration.

Vibrantz’s Xpression organic color series is designed for screen printing of low temperature decals for interior and exterior use. Decals made with Xpression colors can be applied on almost all substrates that cannot be thermally cured, such as plastics.  Xpression colors are based on heavy metal-free formulations and do not contain formaldehyde or phthalates, with the exception of fluorescent colors. All colors have excellent miscibility and may be mixed with each other, enabling a very wide color space.

Compared to traditional labels or adhesives, decals printed with Xpression colors can be perfectly matched to the image, maintaining all free space within the illustration.  Since only the protective coating is printed 0.4 millimeters outside the image, decals made with Xpression colors offer ultra-high definition decoration capabilities.

Vibrantz’s thermochrome effect organic waterborne glass coatings complement our complete line of color-rich organic glass coatings to provide a vast selection of colors and decoration possibilities. We offer thermochrome effect glass coatings that are designed to change color when the coated glass comes in contact with warm or cold liquids.

Thermochrome effect coatings are available in 5 basic colors (magenta, blue, red, black and turquoise) that operate within a cold range at around 15° C, and a warm range of 37° C.   Vibrantz offers thermochrome as a colored paste that is compatible with our hydro organic glass coating systems that include hydroglasur, hydrodecor, hydrocos, hydrocont and GLK-As.
