Vibrantz’s 221 series is an environmentally-friendly, clear, fast-dry urethane waterborne glass coating in a ready-to-use formula for spray application decoration of glass bottles and containers. This one-component organic waterborne coating system is formulated to provide a durable film with excellent glass adhesion, chemical resistance, and resistance to multiple dishwasher cycles.

Our tintable base/tint system offers 20 tint base colors and various additional decorative effects, including transparent, translucent, frost, metallic, pearlescent, neon, UV-protective, glossy or matte finishes providing decorators with an almost infinite number of design options for innovative glass decoration.

The 25 series is a heavy-metal free two-component system of waterborne coatings for spray application on glass that contains low volatile organic compounds (VOCs.) These coatings exhibit good glass adhesion while providing good mechanical and chemical resistance.

Vibrantz’s waterborne coatings offer higher performance than ceramic inks and cure at a much lower temperature than glass enamels. Available in a wide range of colors, our coatings provide decorators with the ability to produce an almost infinite number of colors, allowing the creation of innovative designs on various glass container applications.

Additionally, color concentrates can be mixed with base coats to provide further options for on-site color mixing and matching. Once the coating is ready to apply, it has a pot life of about 4 hours.

Hydroglasur is a heavy metal-free modern glass coating one-component system for the coloring decoration of interior and exterior glass surfaces. Due to its outstanding resistance properties, it is especially suited for the coating of household glassware such as drinking glasses, plates or bowls that are cleaned in the dishwasher regularly. Objects coated with hydroglasur are hard to distinguish from pigmented or etched glass.

Offering an unlimited variety of colors and effects, hydroglasur is available in highly transparent to completely hiding and brilliant to matt effects. Its application is easy and economical with a wide range of machinery parameters.

Hydroglasur is certified for direct food contact and corresponds to the requirements of paragraph 30 and 31 out of German food and feed code (LFGB) as well for article 3 out of (EG) provision no. 1935/2004. Coating  glasses, cups, bowls with hydroglasure can be recommended without restrictions.

For plates, we recommend covering the rim or complete backside area.

Vibrantz’s Xpression organic color series is designed for screen printing of low temperature decals for interior and exterior use. Decals made with Xpression colors can be applied on almost all substrates that cannot be thermally cured, such as plastics.  Xpression colors are based on heavy metal-free formulations and do not contain formaldehyde or phthalates, with the exception of fluorescent colors. All colors have excellent miscibility and may be mixed with each other, enabling a very wide color space.

Compared to traditional labels or adhesives, decals printed with Xpression colors can be perfectly matched to the image, maintaining all free space within the illustration.  Since only the protective coating is printed 0.4 millimeters outside the image, decals made with Xpression colors offer ultra-high definition decoration capabilities.
