Prior to Vibrantz, he served as group vice president, global operations with Ferro Corporation and oversaw the global manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain, and corporate EHS and product stewardship functions. Most recently, Bell served as vice president, Americas and Color Solutions, and prior to his relocation to the U.S., as Ferro’s president for the Asia Pacific region based in Suzhou, China.
Throughout his career with Ferro, Bell was at the forefront of organic growth initiatives, acquisitions, geographic expansion, innovation as well as large-scale manufacturing and footprint optimization projects. He joined Ferro in 2001 through the dmc2 acquisition and held numerous general, business and commercial management roles with Ferro, Degussa, Cerdec and dmc2 in Germany, Spain, Indonesia and Thailand.
After his professional education as an industrial manager (Industriekaufmann, IHK, Frankfurt), Bell began his career in 1988 as a management trainee for international assignments with Degussa AG, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
