We offer thixotropic covercoats with excellent combustibility and depolymerization properties used for ceramic decal decoration of glass, porcelain, ceramics and enamel. Covercoats with thixotropic viscosity are designed to prevent from the covercoat from flowing down during the vertical drying process. This property is essential when drying in an automatic wicket dryer.

Our thixotropic covercoats are available in colorless and dyed options.  Using a colored covercoat can help to distinguish between different covercoats while providing better visibility and distinction of water slide decals.  The color also allows for a better visual impression of the printed film thickness of the covercoat.  

Vibrantz thinners and dispersing agents enable the modification of a printing paste or lacquer to many viscosities needed for various printing requirements.  Even used in small amounts, these products deliver very large effects. Our thinners also enable a color consistency that stays within an acceptable range over printing production run cycles. 

Our dispersing agents added to printing pastes help them flow again without impairing the color quality.  They also reduce the viscosity of highly viscous color pastes, making them easier to print. 

Vibrantz offers Sunshine low metal release onglaze colors for porcelain, bone china and earthenware. The Sunshine onglaze color range offers 24 shades that provide relatively high resistance to acids and alkalis. In laboratory tests and under industrial conditions on various earthenware, vitreous china, bone china and porcelain bodies, the colors of the Sunshine series show only a very slight alkali attack.

Sunshine colors have excellent processing characteristics in all conventional decorating methods that include direct and indirect screen printing, lining and banding, spraying, and hand painting.

The Starlight100 color series offers unique lead-free metallic colors for high temperature, fast firing porcelain decoration. The Starlight100 lead-free color series includes four metallic shades based on metallic pigments that are designed to create an appearance close to four key precious metals such as a burnished or matt gold, silver, platinum, or white gold. The more matt metallic colors produce an impressive contrast to the high gloss bright platinum or bright gold.

Springtime100 is the next generation lead-free color range designed for underglaze decoration of vitreous china, bone china, stoneware, porcelain and tiles. The Springtime100 color range offers 17 highly pigmented lead-free shades that deliver an intense color palette used for underglaze ceramic decoration. 

Springtime100 underglaze colors are lead-free and cadmium-free with controls in place to maintain upper limits of 100 ppm lead and 600 ppm cadmium. Vibrantz maintains and manages the heavy metal limit through careful monitoring of raw materials combined with accurate processing and continuous, precise quality control.

Vibrantz’s offers special coatings used in the ceramic decoration process including refreshing covercoats, protective coats and cold-strippable coats. Our special coatings can be used with decorations processed with automatic and semi-automatic screen printing equipment. The special coatings include a cold-strippable coating which is a non-thixotropic (flowing) covercoat that can be stripped from various substrates once it has dried, making it ideal for non-fired decals used to transfer company logos to various items or to temporarily cover areas of ceramic objects.

Vibrantz supplies supplies soaking agents designed to regenerate older ceramic decals. Our soaking agents enable aged, brittle decals to regain flexibility. 

Decorating with ceramic decals that have been treated with soaking agents makes the decals much easier to transfer to substrates than aged decals.

Using Vibrantz’s Soaking Agent 80 650 revives old ceramic decoration decals that have become unsuitable for decorative purposes, enabling brittle decals to become flexible again.

Vibrantz supplies sandblasting protection paste used during the sandblasting decoration process to protect various substrates, including ceramics, glass, porcelain, enamel aluminum, and steel. Our sandblasting mask is designed to protect parts of substrates from the sandblasting decoration process.  The mask is comprised of protection paste that is mixed with hardener, and then be printed directly onto the substrate if the shape of the article allows a direct application. Alternatively, a sand-blasting protection decal can be printed.
