We offer pad printing media that have been developed specifically for the direct application of decoration to flatware or slightly curved items, such as plates. Printing pastes formulated with our media provide the ability to create designs with a high proportion of color and intensity for in-glaze and onglaze decoration of smooth surfaces, including porcelain and ceramics, and underglaze decoration of bisque surface, such as bone china, vitro-porcelain and earthenware.

The Orchid onglaze color range offers nine colors that show brilliant, reddish colors with high consistency in the recommended firing range, while providing relatively high resistance to acids and alkalis. In laboratory tests and under industrial conditions on various earthenware, bone china and porcelain bodies, the colors of the Orchid series show only a very slight alkali attack.

Orchid colors have excellent processing characteristics in all conventional decorating methods that include direct and indirect screen printing, lining and banding, spraying, and hand painting.

Our Metallic100 color series offers the latest generation of lead-free metallic colors designed for onglaze ceramic decoration of porcelain, bone china, vitreous china and earthenware. The Metallic100 series color range offers 15 shades of metallic colors for onglaze ceramic decoration. These colors show no visible acid or alkali attack laboratory tests and under industrial conditions on a variety of different substrates.

Metallic100 onglaze decoration colors are lead-free and cadmium-free with controls in place to maintain upper limits of 100 ppm lead and 600 ppm cadmium. Vibrantz maintains and manages the heavy metal limit through careful monitoring of raw materials combined with accurate processing and continuous, precise quality control.

Vibrantz’s supplies media for direct application of designs to ceramics, glass, porcelain and enamelware using banding and lining decorating machines and spray decoration methods. Our water-based media products for use with ceramics and glass decorating machines, spray application, and decorations applied by hand with a brush. The water-solubility of our printing media products for machine application enables all printing tools to be easily cleaned with water.
